You need a skipper certificate, a VHF certificate, and preferably an ICC (International Certificate of Competency). Our graduates receive the most internationally recognized certificates issued by IYT (International Yacht Training Worldwide). It is the trusted standard of excellence in yacht training, maritime certification and safety. It is also the only approved international body to issue the ICC. The ICC is required by (UNECE IWC) Resolution 40 for both inland and coastal waters in a large part of the European Union. Note that certain countries (like Cyprus) may have their own regulations.
Wear sneakers with non-marking or white soles, sun protection (cream, cap, sunglasses), gloves, have snacks and water with you. There is a place on the boat where you can put your bags. If it rains or gets colder, take a gilet or a windbreaker - that's enough for Cyprus winter. There is a changing/shower room in the marina.

Once you register on https://iytnet.com and go to the IYT Online Training Courses section, you will be able to take e-learning courses for International Crew, Bareboat Skipper and receive course completion certificates absolutely free. You can also take a free VHF and Small Powerboat & RIB Master courses without paying for the final exam. This will bring you a lot of benefits.
